Where it stands:
Fauci testified four times (2022-2024). The House Select Subcommittee referred him to DOJ in June 2024 for alleged false statements.
The Biden DOJ declined prosecution in October 2024. The Trump DOJ reopened the referral in February 2025. As of April 2026, no charges. Fauci, now 85, retired and published a memoir.
The CIA's 2025 declassified assessment: "low confidence" that COVID originated from a lab leak in Wuhan, "moderate confidence" it was natural. No evidence of a U.S. cover-up.
5. January 6th Committee and "the Pelosi-Schumer security failure"
What people want: Pelosi and Schumer investigated for rejecting National Guard help.
Where it stands:
The House Administration Subcommittee under Rep. Barry Loudermilk released 40,000 hours of footage in 2024 and a report claiming Pelosi's office delayed Guard requests. The report had no subpoena power over Pelosi (who left leadership in 2023).
No DOJ investigation. The Capitol Police Board — not the Speaker — has legal authority over Guard requests. Fact-checkers note Trump never signed a formal order.
